Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases and subscriptions made through www.omera.uk, operated by Richard Hannay trading as Omera Trading.

1. Your Statutory Rights
As a consumer based in the United Kingdom or European Union, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Nothing in this policy affects those statutory rights.
Under these regulations, you have the right to cancel a digital subscription within 14 days of purchase (the ‘cooling-off period’), provided you have not yet accessed, streamed, or downloaded the digital content. If you have accessed the content during the cooling-off period, you acknowledge that your right to cancel may be waived, as permitted under Regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
2. Free Trial
We offer a 5-day free trial to new subscribers. No charge will be made during the free trial period. If you do not wish to continue, you must cancel before the end of the 5-day trial period to avoid being charged. Cancellation instructions are set out in Section 4 below.
Refunds will not be issued for charges incurred after the free trial period has ended if you failed to cancel in time, except where required by applicable law.
3. Subscription Payments
Omera Trading operates on a monthly subscription basis. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial months. If you cancel part-way through a billing period, you will retain access to the Services until the end of that paid period, after which your subscription will not renew.
4. How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account on www.omera.uk and managing your subscription settings. Alternatively, email us at richard@omera.uk and we will process your cancellation within 2 business days.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period. You will not be charged for any subsequent period.
5. Requesting a Refund
If you believe you are entitled to a refund — for example, under your 14-day statutory cancellation right, or because of a technical error resulting in a duplicate charge — please contact us at richard@omera.uk within 14 days of the charge with the following information:
- Your full name and email address used to register
- The date of purchase or charge
- The reason for your refund request
We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. If a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card provider.
6. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Outside of your statutory rights, refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
- You have accessed, read, or downloaded any digital content after purchase
- You have had access to the Services for more than 14 days
- You simply changed your mind after the cooling-off period
- You failed to cancel before a renewal charge was processed
- You were unsatisfied with the quality of content, provided the content was delivered as described
We are a small independent operation and all content is produced by a single operator. We take quality seriously, but trading education content is inherently subjective and its value will vary from person to person. We encourage you to make use of the free trial before committing to a paid subscription.
7. Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that exceptional circumstances arise. If you feel your situation is not covered by the above and you have a genuine reason for requesting a refund, please reach out to us at richard@omera.uk and we will consider your request on a case-by-case basis. We are a small business and we will always try to be fair.
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
